HELLO, EMPIRE OAKS ELEMENTARY!
We at Girls on the Run are excited to bring our club back to Empire Oaks this spring, but we need your help to get started! At present, we only have one coach registered for the team; but we need two coaches per team, and are hoping you can help us find our second coach.
Here are some key dates:
- Week of March 4 – spring season begins
- May 19 – celebratory 5K
- New coach in-person trainings on February 24 and March 3 – choose 1
As a reminder, Girls on the Run coaches:
- Do not have to be a runner
- Do not have to be parent
- Have a desire to impact the next generation
- Are able to attend all practices for the entire 10 week season
- All new coaches are provided training and season materials (returning coaches are provided season materials as well)
